What do you enjoy most about being a Prism member? I enjoy connecting with people from different parts of campus and discussing issues that are important to us. I also appreciate that we are taking action to create a more supportive and inclusive environment for everyone at LCC.
What PRISM projects are you most interested in, present and future? Everything PRISM is doing interests me! Top priorities right now are for us to get the Safe Zone training up and running, grow PRISM’s membership and participation, and work with other Diversity committees on campus to establish a more visible presence for all of us.
What do you like best about the LGBT community? What’s not to like? Seriously, though, it’s important to note that the LGBT population actually includes many communities with different priorities, needs, and life experiences. I enjoy learning more about each of them, and our similarities and differences.

What would people be surprised to learn about you? When I was in college I lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, for a while.
